Ventures in Development is a non-profit that strives to be a catalyst in the creation of more social enterprises in the Greater China region. We believe that social enterprises are a means to bring forth higher levels of economic and social development.

Our current work spans 2 areas:
Knowledge Development and Enterprise Development.

On the Knowledge Development side, we regularly give presentations to generate SE awareness and will soon be launching SE case study program.

On the Enterprise Development side, we are currently incubating 2 social enterprises, Shokay and Mei Xiang Cheese Farm, both of which help nomads utilize resources from their yaks to achieve sustainable economic development.
