Theory of Change
Defining social entrepreneurship
Why China?
Statement of Belief
We define social enterprises as for-profit business that explicitly aim to achieve both financial return and development impact. Given that the basic needs of society are met, we believe that promoting the growth of social enterprises is a more sustainable way to achieve higher levels of economic and social development.

Theory of Change

The growth of social enterprises is dependant upon fostering a generation of social entrepreneurs who understand the concept and have the passion pursue it. This is a dynamic process. VID choose to enter this cycle by first taking action. The more people who take action, the more awareness it will raise, which in turn will encourage people to explore and absorb the material, and thus in turn create more social entrepreneurs.
